Over 300 players took part in the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this past week. The medical checks are in, the measurements are recorded and the interviews are in the books. NFL talent evaluators now have another piece of the puzzle in their overall evaluation leading up to the NFL Draft in Green Bay next month.
The game film is still the ultimate evaluator of these prospects, but some players really helped themselves down in Indy, while others forced teams to go back to the tape to see why the measurables maybe didn’t add up.
Here’s a look at 10 players who really impressed at the Combine:
1. S Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina
A creative NFL defensive coordinator is going to have a lot of fun with Emmanwori as a chess piece in his defense. Emmanwori measured in at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds and had a ridiculous 43-inch vertical and 11-foot-6-inch broad jump. Then, he blazed the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds. Safety, big nickel, linebacker. His traits will allow him to play a lot of different roles in the NFL.
2. LB Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
Lions general manager Brad Holmes does love his Alabama prospects and Campbell took advantage of the Combine, both in testing an on-field drills. He ran 4.52 seconds in the 40-yard dash at 235 pounds and his 10-foot-7-inch broad jump continued to show off his explosive traits. He was pretty smooth in testing and looks to be a player who can play the SAM, WILL, MIKE and even Edge in certain packages. He’s the total package.
