Fair is averaging 22.0 points per game this season shooting 39.2 percent from the field. She’s 10th in the nation in scoring average and third in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Fair was an All-ACC First Team selection and is a on the Naismith Midseason Watch List for Player of the Year. She currently ranks fifth on the NCAA Division I all-time scoring list for women’s college basketball with 3,351 career points. She became the fastest player in program history to score 1,000 points at Syracuse (50 games) and crossed the 3,000 career point plateau in a comeback win vs. Clemson earlier this season. 

This is the first time Fair has been tabbed all-America by both publications. Last season, she was selected as a WBCA All-America Honorable Mention pick. 

Syracuse will make its 13th NCAA Tournament appearance this weekend when the 6-seed Orange face the winner of First Four matchup 11-seed Arizona vs. 11-seed Auburn at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Conn. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2. It marks the first NCAA Tournament appearance for the Orange with Felisha Legette-Jack at the helm and will be the second NCAA Tournament appearance for Fair, who earned an automatic bid in 2022 while a junior at Buffalo.
