Several big races will be held at Dubai’s Meydan Racecourse in 2024. On the night of the Dubai World Cup, it plays host to a sold-out crowd that includes notable horses, riders, and trainers. The whole horse racing community watches several races and performances by both experienced and novice horses in the days leading up to the big night. Expectations are already rising for the upcoming Dubai Carnival, which begins in four days, due to the American thoroughbred Nevershow Weakness.
Given Nevershow Weakness’s stellar track record at Meydan Racecourse, the hype surrounding its participation is pertinent. The internet went wild when word spread that the horse had returned to Meydan after its stint on January 5. With a mixed grid of sixteen horses, the spectators would undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on the American racehorse.

Nevershow Weakness, as his name suggests, has been a tough competitor who never shows weakness on the racetrack. He has won two races in a row at the Meydan Racecourse. For the American equine, racing at the track is like being at home, as it was also the site of his 2023 season finale and 2024 season opening. The horse’s participation in Race 6 of the Dubai Carnival was announced by the Dubai Racing Club on X. The horse, nevertheless, will have stiff competition at the Dubai Carnival, as he will be joined by fifteen other horses.
According to the 2000-meter dirt race card, Secret Victory, Ajuste Fiscal, and Vagalame entered the competition first. In Crowd, Monaadah, and Celtic Prince are the next three horses to join the race. From six to ten on the list are Aldous Huxley, Simjangui Godong, Sanad Libya, and Go Soldier Go. Book Review, Street Mood, Nevershow Weakness, Sifting Sands, Al Jadaff, and Laresh are the last six horses to join the event at Meydan Racecourse. The previous time, there weren’t sixteen horses on the grid; therefore the horse racing world is still waiting for the Emirates Racing Authority to allow the race card to confirm their gate positions.

On January 5, the 1m2f track showed fast conditions. Fans of the AZIZI Reve (Handicap) (Dirt) at Meydan Racecourse couldn’t contain their excitement since the race’s previous victor, Nevershow Weakness, was set to compete. Along with the American equine, eight other horses ventured to the illustrious track to try their luck.

At the dirt track, Nevershow Weakness and Lion’s Mane were absolutely spectacular. Green Jacket was on the trail of the leading horses as they battled for position. The American racehorse, however, altered the competition at the last turn to the stretch, charging past Lion’s Mane and into first place. Just as his name suggests, Nevershow Weakness displayed zero weakness and utter supremacy in his first race of the 2024 season.
