The 2024 NFL Draft is just hours away and fans are starting to show out in Detroit, and the speculation surrounding who will be the top overall pick is about to come to an end.
Despite the order, there is a plethora of talented players available for the first round of the draft. Fans from all over the country will be eagerly anticipating the announcement of who will be added to their team’s roster.

2024 NFL mock drafts: USA Today’s latest Round 1 projections
First overall pick: Caleb Williams (-10000) is a sizable favorite to go number one overall, an implied probability of 99%.
Second overall pick: Currently, Jayden Daniels (-1000) is the top pick to go 2nd overall in the NFL draft. However, J.J. McCarthy from Michigan is quickly rising in the latest odds at +1100.
Third overall pick: Drake Maye, North Carolina’s quarterback, is currently favored to go third overall in the 2024 NFL Draft with odds at -275. The New England Patriots hold the third pick, and oddsmakers predict a quarterback will be selected.
Fourth overall pick: Ohio State’s wide receiver, Marvin Harrison Jr., is currently the favorite to be selected fourth overall in the upcoming NFL draft, with odds at -400. The Arizona Cardinals hold the fourth pick in the draft and have already committed to a long-term extension with quarterback Kyler Murray. Therefore, it is highly speculated that Marvin Harrison Jr. (-400) will be drafted by the Cardinals, joining forces with Murray in Arizona.
Fifth overall pick: It is unclear who the Los Angeles Chargers will pick with the fifth overall selection in the upcoming draft, as there are several options available to them. There is a logjam of talent as pertains to odds: J.C. Latham (+250), Marvin Harrison Jr. (+300), Joe Alt (+320), LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers (+350) and Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy (+350) are all getting favorable odds.
Whoever is selected would join the Chargers under the leadership of new head coach Jim Harbaugh.
