American Legion Riders Post 112 in Madison will host their Annual Pig Roast Fundraiser to benefit veterans and their families through scholarships.
This event will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. July 13, according to a news release. A $20 donation includes a dinner of spit-roasted pig cooked on site, pulled pork, sides of baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, grilled corn on the cob, rolls and dessert. Dinner will be
served from 4 to 6 p.m. with takeout available.
Those attending will be able to participate in a Chinese auction, a 50/50 drawing, and other games of chance to win cash and prizes, the release stated. Live music will be provided by members of “Guitars for Vets”, a non-profit organization whose mission is to
help veterans cope with PTSD through music.
