American Golf, the UK’s leading golf retailer, has signed rising golfing star and DP World Tour player Dan Brown to an exclusive sponsorship deal.
The 29-year-old golfer, who recently made headlines by finishing 10th in his major tournament debut at The Open Championship, joins American Golf until December 2025.
The partnership is a further step forward for American Golf in becoming the ultimate one-stop destination for all golfers by adding value to customers with exclusive opportunities and events with Dan Brown.
Over the next 18 months, the retailer will gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to reveal on all social channels as well as having Brown available for corporate events and appearances.
In 2023 Brown claimed his first win on the DP World Tour at the ISPS Handa World Invitational in Northern Ireland, five shots ahead of Alex Fitzpatrick.
He then went on to shock the golfing world on day one of The Open at Royal Troon, his bogey-free 65 round placed him in first place at one the biggest major tournaments of the year.
The American Golf logo will feature on Brown’s competition apparel throughout the season, with the retailer also pledging to support his training and development.
Brown said: “American Golf is a brand synonymous with all golfers and I’m excited to be able to work with them going forward.
“The brand’s dedication to becoming accessible for golfers of all walks of life is what initially attracted me, the work they have done and continue to do to raise awareness of golf as a diverse and inclusive sport is something I’m proud to be a part of.”
Scott Taylor, Marketing and CRM Director at American Golf, said: “We’re really excited to welcome Dan Brown to the American Golf family. His dedication to the sport perfectly aligns with our brand’s values. We are confident that this partnership will not only showcase his immense talent but also inspire golfers at all levels.
“Dan’s recent performances on the big stage have propelled him to new heights, we can’t wait to start our partnership and support him on what promises to be an exciting journey.”
