Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers have successfully landed one of the top defensive players in the country. 2025 All-American Christian Jones from Westside High School in Nebraska has committed to the Huskers. According to 247Sports, Jones is a four-star prospect and the top player in the state of Nebraska.
Current members of the Huskers to participate in the All-American Bowl include the likes of Carter Nelson, Ty Robinson, and Malachi Coleman.
Jones will play in the annual East vs. West matchup inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC and Peacock, and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players.
