The NFL is a 32 team league split into two conferences, with each conference comprising of four divisions. The NFL’s regular season lasts 18 weeks, with each team playing 17 games, and ends on 5 January 2025 when the play-offs begin. 14 teams will make the NFL play-offs, the participants of which are decided by the following regular season standings:
These fourteen teams will then battle it out in a single tie knockout tournament, with the last team remaining being crowned the Superbowl champions and winners of the Vince Lombardi trophy. The Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, who contested last season’s Super Bowl, will meet on 20 October.
