Integrity Compliance 360’s ProhiBet has received the American Gambling Awards 2024 Responsible Gaming Award.
The Gambling.com Group, producer of the American Gambling Awards, will host the winners, judges and other invited guests at an exclusive VIP dinner at Torrisi, an acclaimed Michelin Star (2023) restaurant in New York City on Nov. 21.
ProhiBet by IC360 is the sports-betting industry’s first and only prohibited betting solution among the jurisdictions with prohibited betting mandates, according to the company website. The Nevada-based company addresses regulatory gaps by preventing athletes, coaches and officials from betting.
“Partnering with operators like PrizePicks and Hard Rock Digital, and collaborating with universities and sports teams, ProhiBet ensures integrity,” the company said. “Our ALERT360 helpline offers anonymous support, and we educate young athletes on gambling risks, advocating for responsibility at every level.”
IC360 representatives also visit colleges to teach athletes about gambling risks, “fostering a culture of responsibility and awareness.”
“To safeguard sports integrity, state regulations typically prevent specific individuals such as athletes, coaches, and officials from betting on events,” the company said. “ProhiBet provides an industry-wide solution for monitoring these regulations through a secure, decentralized cross-monitoring platform.”
Chief Operating Officer Scott Sadin said IC360 is honored to receive the award, adding it “reflects our unwavering commitment to maintaining integrity in sports betting.”
“ProhiBet is more than just a solution; it’s a movement toward fostering a culture of responsibility and awareness within the sports community,” he said. “Through our innovative technology, we are proud to say that 10 million checks have been performed through our ProhiBet technology solution since our launch one year ago, ensuring a safer environment for all stakeholders in the industry.”
Charles Gillespie, Gambling.com Group cofounder and chief executive officer, said responsible gaming must be at the heart of an industry aiming to be “respected, especially in a complex market like the United States where players can easily end up playing offshore.”
“We are proud to recognize ProhiBet by IC360 as the winner of this year’s Responsible Gaming Award,” he said. “Their innovative approach of combining best-in-class technology with relevant educational curriculum sets a new standard in safeguarding the integrity of sports while promoting a culture of responsibility. Congratulations to the entire IC360 team for their invaluable contribution to fostering a safer and more responsible gaming environment.”
