American Legion Post 123 will host an Egg Nog Open House on Dec. 13 starting at 4 p.m. at 4249 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel. The egg nog will be a handmade fourth-generation Hird family recipe. Donations will be accepted for other food and drinks. Post 123 is open on Mondays and Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. It serves burgers, hotdogs and other specials. There are TVs available for sports. The Post is open to the public. Membership applications are available.
