Lids, which was situated in the Eden Shopping Centre in the town, shut its doors for the final time on Wednesday, December 18.
It had only been in the complex since April 2022 when it replaced the outgoing lingerie store, Ann Summers.
The shop specialises in American sportswear such as basketball jerseys and baseball caps.
Many shoppers and residents have reacted to the news of the latest store to leave High Wycombe.
Some have suggested that High Wycombe was not the right location for the business.
Speaking on Facebook, Shjeel Ahmed said: “Nice decor in there, but I was sceptical how busy they would be.
“It’s too narrow and niche, possibly do well in Westfield or central London perhaps.”
Andrew Joicey added: “High Wycombe is not the market for overpriced baseball caps and jerseys.”
Daniel King said: “Shop was always doomed way too pricey plus most of the hats were American sports teams witch not a lot of us buy them here.”
There are roughly 2,000 outlets worldwide, but according to Retail Week, Lids are expected to leave the UK market.
