Well, if there’s one thing Chicago Bears fans aren’t thankful for this American Thanksgiving, it’s how their team just lost to the Detroit Lions.
The Bears were in prime position to kick a field goal and force overtime against the NFC-leading Lions but instead took a sack before gobbling up the remaining game clock just for Caleb Williams to try and stuff a deep ball into double coverage.
All the while, inexplicably, not using their final timeout. Safe to say the flight home is not going to be a comfortable one for head coach Matt Eberflus after his mismanagement late.
In the end, Chicago lost 23-20 and fell to 4-8. Detroit improved to 11-1 while also snapping a seven-game Thanksgiving day skid.
Here are some of the best reactions to the oh-so-woeful Bears epic blunder.
