However, this post wasn’t the only example of her enjoying a moment with her grandson. In August last year, she uploaded a few pictures on her IG account. In a post from August 10, she shared pictures of Hayden along with her momma, grandma, and grandpa. Chris Evert captioned that picture with, “We took Hayden out on the town…. mom, dad, grandma and grandpa !!! ( dad taking picture) @reebz202 @mickynill @millhousepodcast.“
Later on, she even shared a separate post in which she was seen giving alongside Andy Mill and their grandson. “Bonding with our grandson, Hayden James…Loving our growing family ❤️❤️❤️#AndyMill,” she wrote in the captions of that post. However, later on, they even got divorced.

During a previous interview we saw, Chris Evert shed light on how she felt that starting a family would likely impact her career plans. While speaking to the press at the New York Major, Chris Evert once admitted that when she and John Lloyd decided to have children, she’d like to retire due to the difficulty of balancing motherhood with the life of a professional tennis player. Even Lloyd at that time echoed his then-wife’s sentiments saying, “I don’t want her to have a child and come back on the circuit. If she has nine months off, it’s much harder to come back then. And we would need a nanny to bring the baby around with us. That’s not the way to do it.”
However, Chris Evert and John Llyod eventually divorced in 1987 without having children together. Later on, she gave birth to three sons. Evert has three children- Alexander, Nicholas, and Colton Jack with her second husband Andy Mill, a former alpine ski racer. Recalling her fond times with Mill, Chris Evert once said, “I’ve had a three-part life and, for me, the best part by far was being married to Andy, having kids, and being a family. If I could do it over again, I’d have taken some time to really think about what was wrong and try to make it work.”
She revealed that she still shares a good relationship with Mill and they often spend time together as a family. These pictures of them alongside their grandson are probably perfect examples of it. Chris Evert has often thanked her family for their incredible support through thick and thin over the years.

Chris Evert would perhaps now want to channel the lessons she taught to her sons into her grandchildren. She strongly believes her parenting style has made her kids more kind and gentle. In 2016, during an interview, she said, “Because my upbringing was so strict, so black and white with no grey, I went the other way with my sons. I listened to them, let them talk me into letting them stay up an extra hour at bedtime. I probably could have been stricter, but I’d tell them ‘just do your best.’ As a result, they are very kind and loving.” Share your thoughts on this adorable picture featuring Chris Evert’s little grandson.
