The world’s oldest
international sporting competition the America’s Cup reaches its
conclusion this weekend – and you can watch all the action live across BBC
Sport!
Team New Zealand have stormed into a 6-2 lead over Britannia (GB) in
the 37th edition of the competition and require just one more race
win in the best-of-13 series to secure the title in Barcelona. The team, which
represents the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, are looking to add a third
consecutive title to their successes in 2017 and 2021.
Britannia (GB) led by four-time Olympic gold medallist Ben
Ainslie fell to defeat twice on Friday and now must win all the remaining
races if they are to secure an unlikely first title.
