After spending three seasons at Michigan, Hunter Dickinson left for Kansas and brought elite production with him. The left-hander has averaged 18.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 blocks, shooting 55.0 percent from the floor. This is Dickinson’s second time landing an All-American nod from B/R.
Last year, Johni Broome landed second-team All-SEC recognition in his first season with Auburn. The transfer from Morehead State elevated his play in 2023-24, notching 16.3 points, 8.5 boards and 2.3 blocks per game while leading the Tigers to the brink of another NCAA tourney bid. To date, Broome has posted 10 double-doubles.
Baylor Scheierman, Creighton
Baylor Scheierman, like Broome, made the high-major leap in 2022-23, going from South Dakota State to Creighton. He’s jumped from 12.8 points per game on a 42.4 shooting clip to an 18.5-point average at a 45.6 rate, including 37.9 percent from the perimeter. Scheierman has also provided 8.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game, placing Creighton on track for a top-four seed in the Big Dance.
Vonterius Woolbright, Western Carolina
You like small-school superstars? There are few, if any, better than Vonterius Woolbright this season. The senior guard amassed 21.1 points, 12.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game and leads the country with five triple-doubles. Western Carolina’s loss in the SoCon tourney means Woolbright will not be playing in March Madness, though.
The leading scorer on the Pac-12 regular-season champion, Caleb Love has tallied 18.7 points per game in his debut campaign with Arizona. Love, a transfer from North Carolina, has also contributed 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per night for one of the nation’s most electric offenses.
