With the United States guest hosting the 2024 Copa America, several stadiums and cities will stage matches for the highly anticipated summer tournament.
Six teams from North America have been invited to participate in this special edition of the South American continental championship, held every four years outside of a few exceptions.
It’s the second time the U.S. will host the tournament, after the highly successful Copa America Centenario in 2016.
Argentina are defending champions of the competition, having beaten Brazil in the 2021 final which saw Lionel Messi win his first major international trophy.
The Sporting News brings you a full roundup of all the host venues for the 2024 summer tournament in which the USMNT will participate, earning valuable competitive minutes in preparation for hosting the 2026 World Cup as well.

The United States have been pre-drawn into Group C in the 2024 Copa America, in position C1.
That will see the USMNT play its three group stage matches, in order, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
Should they advance to the knockout stage, their quarterfinal venue would be determined by their finishing position in Group C. A first-place finish in the group would see them play their quarterfinal match against the Group D runner-up in Las Vegas, while a second-place finish would see them play the Group D winner (potentially Brazil) in Glendale, AZ.
Either way, their possible semifinal location would be in Charlotte. Advancing to play in the final would see them travel to Miami, while the third place match would see them remain in Charlotte.

14 venues will host matches across the entirety of the 2024 Copa America. CONMEBOL teased the announcement of the locations by setting the final (Miami, FL) and the opening match (Atlanta, GA) before releasing the entire list days before the draw in early December.
Matches: Group Stage (Group A, C), Final
The 2024 Copa America final will be held on July 14 in Miami, Florida at the home of the city’s NFL franchise. The choice is a sensible one, as the city hosts the nation’s 14th largest Hispanic population, including one third of the Argentines living in the United States.
It will also host a pair of group stage matches, including games featuring both the United States and Argentina.
Hard Rock Stadium has hosted plenty of soccer matches in the past, including a pre-World Cup friendly between Argentina and Honduras in September of 2022 that drew over 64,000 fans. The stadium is also part of the group of venues slated for 2026 World Cup matches.
Miami will also host the group-stage draw for the competition on December 7, so holding the final in the same city is symbolic.
Matches: Semifinal, 3rd Place match
As a venue that was not amongst the final selection for the 2026 World Cup, it’s pleasantly surprising to see Bank of America stadium get a pair of very prominent matches in this tournament, including a semifinal that could potentially feature the United States and Brazil.
Matches: Group Stage (Group A, C), Semifinal
As the chosen candidate for the 2026 World Cup final, it’s no surprise to see MetLife Stadium get a prominent match in the Copa America, including the semifinal, which could potentially feature one or both of Argentina and Mexico. They will also get a pair of group stage matches, including one with Argentina, although they miss the U.S.
Matches: Group Stage (Group A, C), Quarterfinal
The stadium affectionately known as “Jerry World” has hosted some of the biggest sporting events in the United States over the last decade, and they will also draw a knockout stage game in the Copa America.
Additionally, they will host the opening match for the United States men in this competition, who will then move on to two more midwest locations before a possible knockout stage journey.
Matches: Group Stage (Group B, D), Quarterfinal
The site of some enormous college football matches over the years, State Farm Stadium (previously known as University of Phoenix Stadium) will host a pair of group stage matches as well as a quarterfinal in the 2024 Copa America. Mexico will play its final group stage match here, following games in Houston and Los Angeles.
Matches: Group Stage (Group B, D), Quarterfinal
While Allegiant Stadium was completed too late for inclusion in the 2026 World Cup bid, the gorgeous, state-of-the-art venue was understandably included for the 2024 Copa America field. It will host a group stage match with Brazil, and could potentially see the USMNT come through in the quarterfinals if they manage to win Group C.
This could be something of an audition for Allegiant Stadium. If SoFi Stadium loses its World Cup matches, as there is rumored tension between FIFA and SoFi owner Stan Kroenke, it could see Allegiant possibly added to the mix.
Matches: Group Stage (Group B, D), Quarterfinal
The home of the Houston Texans will see Mexico come through in the group stage, and could possibly host Argentina in the quarterfinals if they win Group A as expected. As one of three Texas venues, it’s logical that these big games would be located close to the southern border.
Matches: Group Stage (Group A, C)
CONMEBOL has slated Atlanta Georgia’s state-of-the-art venue to host the competition’s opening match on June 20, 2024 involving Argentina and Canada, as well as a Group C match in which the United States will play.
Alongside SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is considered one of the country’s most well-received new sports arenas.
