WACO, Texas – Baylor football redshirt junior wide receiver
Josh Cameron has been named to the
Phil Steele Preseason All-America Fourth Team as a punt returner, as announced by the publication.
Cameron ranked second in the Big 12 in 2023 with 15.5 yards per punt return, after returning 13 punts for a total of 201 yards. The native of Cedar Park, Texas, broke off a season-long 70-yard return at Kansas State on Nov. 11, the third-longest return in the league last season. He had five returns of at least 16 yards and did not lose a fumble in his first season as BU’s return man.
Also a second-team preseason All-Big 12 selection, Cameron picks up his second-career honor as a punt returner after being named to the 2023 All-Big 12 Second Team by
Phil Steele.
