Former Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker had an interesting response when asked by reporters what his favorite thing about football is.
“It’s legal assault out there. I love football because the brand of football that I play, I make guys not love football anymore,” Booker told the media Saturday at the NFL combine, per Chargers Wire’s Alex Katson. “And I do that every down by really just giving it my all and letting them know I’m not going to let up.
“The thing I love most about football is taking that love away from other people.”
Booker is projected to be a first-round pick in April’s draft after three seasons at Alabama. The 20-year-old made two All-SEC teams and was an All-American with the Crimson Tide.
The Connecticut native is set to compete in offensive line drills Sunday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
