FSU will have three players represented in the singles championship and two pairings represented in the doubles championship. Jamie Connel, Corey Craig, and Youcef Rihane will begin in the qualifying round of the singles tournament with 64 players. Rihane and Alex Bulte will start alongside Erik Schiessl and Joshua Dous-Karpenschif in the qualifying round of the doubles tournament with 32 pairings.
The eight main draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship while the four main draw semifinalists will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship. The NCAA Individual Championships have been moved from the spring to the fall as of 2024-25.
Connel and Rihane each reached the first round of the singles main draw last season while Bulte and Rihane return to the doubles qualifying round. Schiessl reached the round of 64 as a freshman at Oklahoma State last season, Craig reached the round of 128 at Boston University last season.
Dous-Karpenschif earned All-American honors last season after reaching the NCAA Doubles Championship match with Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc. The pairing achieved the furthest individual play run in any NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship event in program history.
Connel and Rihane will begin their singles championship runs at 9 a.m. while wild card entry Craig will begin in the afternoon session at 2 p.m. Schiessl and Dous-Karpenschif will start at 3 p.m. before Rihane returns to the courts to begin his doubles championship run with Bulte at 4:30 p.m.
