For the first 17 weeks of the 2024 NFL season, there was at least one game each Thursday to kick off the action every week. Is there a “Thursday Night Football” game to start off in Week 18?
Amazon Prime’s “Thursday Night Football” slate will not continue in the final week of 2024. After broadcasting one game every week starting in Week 2 – including a Black Friday game in Week 13 because of the three-game Thanksgiving slate – their 2024 run is over.
The Seattle Seahawks‘ 6-3 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 17 was the final “Thursday Night Football” game of the season.
Here’s what to know about “Thursday Night Football” and the Week 18 slate:
There is not a “Thursday Night Football” game in Week 18.
Amazon Prime’s season-long slate of prime-time games ended with the Week 17 matchup between the Seahawks and Bears, which Seattle won, 6-3.
Week 18 action will instead begin with two games on Saturday, Jan. 4 and conclude with 14 more games on Sunday, Jan 5.
