Katharine McPhee and David Foster: Their Relationship Timeline
Katharine McPhee and David Foster were friends for years before they were spotted getting cozy in May 2017.
By July 2018, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair were engaged. The following year, the twosome exchanged vows in London in June 2019.
McPhee and Foster’s whirlwind romance came as the music producer was finalizing his divorce from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Hadid. Meanwhile, McPhee had ended her two-year relationship with Scorpion costar Elyes Gabel.
Prior to their marriage, McPhee had Foster play the piano at her first wedding to Nick Cokas, from whom she split in 2013 after six years of marriage.
More than one year after McPhee and Foster exchanged their vows, Us confirmed in October 2020 that they were expecting their first child together. They welcomed a son, Rennie, four months later. (Foster shares five daughters from previous relationships.)
