The Las Vegas Raiders announce the signing of G Cody Whitehair, the former Chicago Bears offensive lineman, on Monday.
Whitehair, a 6’3″, 316 pound offensive lineman, signs with the Raiders after playing the last 8 seasons with the Chicago Bears.
He was originally picked up by the Bears in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, a 56th overall pick.
Whitehair has played in 124 career games with 118 starts, 61 at center, 54 at left guard, and 3 at right guard.
He started 71 consecutive regular season games to begin his career and was named the 2016 PFWA All Rookie Team and 2018 Pro Bowl.
Whitehair is a native of Kearney, Nebraska, he played four seasons at Kansas State.
During his college career, he helped the Kansas State Wildcats accumulate a 34-19 record, a Big-12 Championship in 2012 and four straight bowl appearances.
