HARRISBURG — American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Department of Pennsylvania Convention was held at the Red Lion Hotel in Harrisburg from July 25-27. ALA members from throughout the state of Pennsylvania attended.
ALA Unit Members shared tons of information on their programs they participated in for our Veterans, our troops, their families and our communities, in the “Spirit of Service not Self!”
In the “Spirit of Service, not Self,” the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support the American Legion and honor the sacrifice of those who we serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, ALA members advocate for veterans, educate citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
