Mikaela Shiffrin won the last women’s slalom of the season in the Austrian resort of Saalbach.
The 29-year-old American, who had already claimed her eighth season slalom title, extended her own record with a 97th World Cup win.
Shiffrin was second fastest after the first run but an impressive second gave her a 60th slalom victory.
“It’s been a wild season so I’m really happy to be here and see the final race of the season go well,” said Shiffrin.
“I’m looking forward to the next season already.”
Shiffrin sustained a knee injury on 26 January before returning in Are, Sweden last week to claim the slalom title.
She added: “It’s a little bit hard to process it [the records]. It makes me feel so invigorated and so alive – I’m trying to soak it all in.
“I never really focus too much on the numbers but now I feel OK with them. It’s not pressure, it’s just an honour.”
