Last night, the National Football League won six Sports Emmy Awards for its work across NFL Network, NFL Films, the League office and Mundo NFL.
NFL Network’s series “NFL 360” — which had received the most nominations for a single program this year — won two Sports Emmy Awards in the categories of Outstanding Short Feature (“Heroes”) and The Dick Schaap Outstanding Writing Award – Short Form (“Still Here”).
NFL Films won two Emmy Awards, one in the category of Outstanding Edited Event Coverage (“NFL GameDay All Access – Super Bowl LVIII”) along with YouTube, and the other in the category of Outstanding Edited Special (“You Are Looking Live!”) along with CBS. In its history, NFL Films has won 138 Sports Emmy Awards.
The NFL also won The George Wensel Technical Achievement Award for “Toy Story Funday Football” and in the category of Outstanding Feature Story in Spanish (“Mundo NFL Originals – El Sueno de Cieneguitas”).
