With the Netflix Slam, a live event in Las Vegas, all set, there are a lot of other people, apart from the two Spaniards, who will be a part of the show. While Nadal and Alcaraz are obvious participants, Andre Agassi and Mary Joe Fernandez are some other tennis faces who will also be seen on the big screen.

Apart from Las Vegas local Agassi, the biggest question is whether his pupil, Andy Roddick, will be a part of the event. Let’s take a look at whether he will be joining the ranks or not for the Alcaraz-Nadal clash.

Will Andy Roddick be a part of the Netflix Slam? 

While there are a lot of discussions going on regarding whether the 53-year-old American tennis legend will appear in the live tennis event, there might be another American tennis sensation who will also grace the most-awaited Nadal and Alcaraz clash. That is Andy Roddick.

After the announcement of the show, IMDB recently shared the list of the full cast for the show itself. Looking into that list just beside Andre Agassi, there was another name that grabbed a lot of attention. Andy Roddick was also mentioned there as one of the commentators alongside Jim Courier and Patrick McEnroe.

Just like Agassi, the 41-year-old American tennis player will also offer off-court commentary and play analysis regarding the match. Furthermore, Feliciano Lopez and David Ferrer will make special remarks for the Spanish-speaking audience, while Prakash Amritraj and Kay Adams will also make an appearance.

Notably, the event aims to reach a worldwide audience and will be televised on its native platform. While the spectators are ecstatic about the possibility, Nadal and Alcaraz are equally thrilled to be involved in this one-night exhibition encounter.

Nadal and Alcaraz excited about the exhibition match 

While the 22-time Grand Slam champion is getting ready to have a tennis comeback on the court, he also shared his excitement for the exhibition match. Nadal stated, “I’m very excited for my first visit to Las Vegas, one of the most iconic and entertaining cities in the world, I’m also very excited to be playing with my fellow countryman Carlos Alcaraz. I am sure it will be a fantastic night of tennis.” 

In addition, the 20-year-old Spaniard shared his delightful thoughts on being able to play the match with his favorite, Nadal. The current world number 2 highlighted, “I’m honored and so happy to be sharing the court with Rafa in Las Vegas, He’s an all-time great, of course, and his records and achievements speak for themselves. Rafa also is one of the nicest guys on Tour and I look forward to our match on March 3.”
