American football’s top-tier NFL has unveiled a new five-year sponsorship deal with US professional services firm Accenture.
Through that tie-up, Accenture has been named as the official business and technology consulting partner of the league.
The NFL has said the deal will see Accenture “enhancing data-driven decision-making in three key league business areas.” These will be football, financial operations, and human resources.
The league added that its corporate and club financial operations will be elevated through this deal.
The NFL will also collaborate with Accenture on human resource and enterprise resource planning functions.
Tracie Rodburg, the NFL’s senior vice president of sponsorship management, commented: “As the game continues to evolve, we will lean on Accenture’s knowledge and expertise to elevate various areas of our business to benefit our game and fans.”

Late last week, the NFL announced that its “open” ticketing system, NFL Ticket Network, is expanding to a new licensed sale channel through the formation of a partnership with Sports Illustrated Tickets.
The new deal expands the avenues through which NFL fans can secure official NFL gameday tickets, adding another officially licensed option.
April, meanwhile, saw social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) announce the multi-year renewal of its long-standing content partnership with the NFL.
Elsewhere, the Denver Broncos have entered into a multi-year deal with Ent Credit Union.
The firm will serve as the team’s official banking partner.
The tie-up integrates elements such as financial education, in-game activations, charity outreach, and fan experiences.
There will also be in-game signage for Ent at the team’s Empower Field home stadium.
The Broncos failed to make the post-season playoffs in the 2023 NFL campaign.
