THE NFLPA annual survey was released on Wednesday that shows the grades of multiple categories that players of each team voted on themselves.
The Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings remained in the top spots for the second straight year receiving high praise across the board in every category, receiving nothing but grades of “A” and above.
Meanwhile, players of the New York Jets gave their ownership the only “F” grade of all 32 clubhouses, citing that owner Woody Johnson “does not contribute to a positive team culture,” according to the report.
Johnson’s 5.58 rating out of 10 was the lowest grade received from any of the other 31 owners.
The Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals were two of three teams, the other being the New England Patriots, in the league to receive an “F” grade, or worse, in at least two categories.
Bengals players gave the team’s “treatment of families” an “F-“, the worst in the league, with one player stating the team’s family support “almost disrespectful.” The team is only one of three across the league that doesn’t offer daycare during home games.
Their other “F” comes for their food/dining area at team facilities, which was also rated the worst in the league, stating the team doesn’t even provide three meals per day for its players, making them only one of two teams to do such.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals were the worst-rated organization all around. The team ranks in the bottom three of almost every category the players voted on, with the head coach being their best rating (A, 8th best in the league).
The Cardinals received the worst locker room rating (F-), with only 24 percent of players thinking the locker room is serviceable.
The other categories they ranked terrible in include: food/dining (30th), training room (32nd), training staff (31st), ownership (30th), weight room (31st), strength coaches (31st), and treatment of families (29th).
