Paris Olympics 2024 live updates: Coco Gauff loses; Simone Biles leads U.S. in team final today
PARIS — The 2024 Summer Olympics continue Tuesday. U.S. tennis star Coco Gauff lost in straight sets to Croatia’s Dona Vekic in women’s singles. Earlier today, the triathlon was postponed over pollution concerns. On Monday, the U.S. men won bronze in the gymnastics team competition for the Americans’ first Olympic medal in the event since 2008. The U.S. women’s basketball team opened group play with a rout of Japan. Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal in the second round of the men’s tennis singles tournament.
