The Athletic‘s David Ornstein reported on Saturday that Chelsea have held talks with Jonathan David’s representatives about a potential transfer this summer.
The 24-year-old is high among a number of options the club are looking at to strengthen their attack ahead of next season.
Chelsea are yet to approach Lille but have a good relationship with them by virtue of also owning fellow Ligue 1 team Strasbourg, via their BlueCo consortium.
