In a significant development for the infrastructure and built world industries, Google for Startups has announced the selection of Simerse for its AI Academy: Infrastructure program. Simerse is building the AI Platform to Map Infrastructure. Simerse helps AECs, utilities, and construction firms capture, map, and collaborate on infrastructure projects.
According to Google for Startups, the AI Academy: American Infrastructure is a “three-month program designed to support high-potential startups using AI to improve public works and foundational systems across the United States.”
In addition, the program includes a curriculum with Google’s People + AI Research (PAIR) team. Furthermore, startups receive training on advanced sales strategies and go-to-market strategies. Selected startups such as Simerse will receive access to Google AI tools, mentorship from experts, and helpful connections.
