The Texas A&M football team’s game against McNeese on Sept. 7 will kickoff at 11:45 a.m. on SEC Network, Southeastern Conference officials announced Thursday.
A&M and McNeese have met just once in football. The Aggies beat the Cowboys 38-24 to open the 2001 season.
It was previously announced that A&M’s season opener against Notre Dame on Aug. 31 will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on ABC at Kyle Field, and the Aggies’ SEC opener at Florida on Sept. 14 will kick at 2:30 p.m. on ABC. ESPN’s College GameDay will be in College Station ahead of A&M’s matchup with Notre Dame.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey told media members Wednesday at the SEC Spring Meetings in Florida that more game times and TV designations would be announced in mid-June.
