Antion Downs is the CEO and Founder of the True Golf Network which he formed in November of 2024. The mission of the network is to continue to expose the African American community and people of color to the great game of golf through the video medium. The Network will celebrate the contributions of those before us as well as the contributions to the game by current and future leaders. Often times people in our community have no idea of the careers, accomplishments and educational opportunities that the golf industry can provide. Careers paths include business professionals, medical professionals, marketing professionals, etc., as
well as golf playing and teaching professionals. With this in mind the network will seek to cover, highlight and interview individuals and organizations involved in the grass roots efforts to grow golf, HBCU college golf programs and professional tours such as the APGA.. The network is based in Clarksburg, Maryland
The mission of this event is to inform African Americans and all people of color about the jobs, careers, business and playing opportunities in the $102 Billion Golf Industry.
