This is Trujillo’s second midseason All-America honor, following his selection to the Reese’s Senior Bowl Midseason All-American Team on October 10. The Georgia native is 7-for-9 on field goal attempts and a perfect 10-for-10 on PATs this season. Trujillo has converted two 60+ yard field goal attempts this year, holding two of the three 60+ yard conversions in the FBS this season. With these kicks, Trujilolo also marked just the third time in NCAA history that feat has been achieved. Trujillo’s 64-yard field goal against Utah State set the record for the longest field goal in Lincoln Financial Field history, surpassing Jake Elliott’s two 61-yard conversions. He also now owns the longest field goal in Rentschler Field history after splitting the uprights on a 60-yard attempt in the Owls’ Week 6 contest at UConn.
Trujillo now owns three of the five longest FGs in Temple history, his 64-yarder and 60-yarder are one and two, and his 54-yarder vs. Coastal Carolina ranks fifth.
