Ubisoft has partnered with American NFL to launch a new American football-focused card game called NFL Primetime Fantasy.
Ubisoft Saguenay is developing the new mobile game, which is being made in partnership with the NFL and the NFLPA. The game allows players to collect cards and make decisions during the NFL regular season and playoff games.
Players can also compete against others around the globe, with real-time decisions you make during NFL games impacting your fantasy points.
Offering non-traditional experiences
“This exciting collaboration with Ubisoft opens up fresh territory in the gaming world for the NFL,” said the NFL’s VP of video gaming, Ed Kiang, in a release via IGN.
“NFL Primetime Fantasy marks the first NFL-licensed mobile game tied to our live games, driving fans closer to the sport than ever before. With this new addition to our expansive gaming portfolio, we demonstrate our dedication to offering non-traditional video gaming experiences for our fans.”
The game will introduce global leaderboards and gamified features like boosts when it launches for iOS and Android in November.
