Seven things to know about the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay
Here are a few things to know about the 2025 NFL draft being held April 24-26 in Green Bay.
GREEN BAY – We’re now less than two months until Green Bay hosts the 2025 NFL draft and it’s almost time to download a key smartphone app for those looking for event details and anyone who plans to attend.
NFL OnePass, available via the Apple and Google Play stores, will become a key source of details and tickets for the draft, April 24-26 at Lambeau Field. The NFL expects to begin adding draft details to OnePass on March 4.
“This is the tool you will need to register yourself if you plan on attending the draft,” Ashwaubenon Village Manager Joel Gregozeski told the Village Board on Feb. 25. “Any information that’s pertinent to the event will be on here (OnePass).”
OnePass will become more important as the draft approaches. It’ll serve as a multipurpose app for draft visitors and as a key source for answers to common questions Green Bay-area residents and NFL draft visitors have about the logistics of an event with an expected attendance of about 250,000.
Here’s what to know about the app, why it’s important, how to get it and how to use it.
It’s a smartphone app that serves as your digital ticket to enter the NFL draft grounds and a resource guide for the draft. OnePass is also used for NFL events like this weekend’s NFL combine and international games.
OnePass is free.
Yes. You must be 18 or older to download and register on NFL OnePass. Each adult will be able to add up to five minors.
The NFL draft is free to attend; you only have to register on the OnePass app.
Tickets will be required to access the NFL Draft Theater, the stage and seating area where the actual picks will be announced.
The NFL has published a OnePass mobile ticketing guide to help guide you through the process.
The NFL app will include a digital map of the draft grounds and a schedule of draft events, enable users to get answers to event questions via the NFL’s virtual assistant “Ask Vince,” and highlight interactive activities included in the NFL draft experience.
It also serves as an alert system for the latest details on what’s happening at the draft. Gregozeski said the NFL will use OnePass to send push alerts as new draft event details are uploaded or emerge.
OnePass is required for those interactive experiences and will keep track of badges you earn for participating those activities.
Here are just a few things referenced in the league’s 2025 NFL draft FAQ page:
NFL OnePass is necessary to enter the NFL draft grounds, but access is not guaranteed.
Security teams will be monitoring the number of people within the space and will stop admissions if the space reaches capacity. It is not clear how many people that will be.
Gregozeski said it’s most likely capacity would be reached on Thursday evening, the first night of the draft. He said Green Bay-area officials witnessed that happen on the first night of the 2024 NFL draft, in Detroit, while there to prepare for this year’s event.
According to Pew Research, 30 million Americans, about 9% of the population, do not have smartphones.
If that’s you, you can sign up for OnePass on a desktop computer, too. The NFL directs you to send an email to OnePass@nfl.com or on or after March 4 visit nfl.com/draftaccess. The site, as of Feb. 27, was not active.
Additionally, you can sign up when you arrive at the draft grounds by visiting the NFL’s OnePass Fan Services center.
