With a dozen major categories up for consideration, the Gambling.com Group is extending the nomination deadline for the 2024 American Gambling Awards.
The deadline to submit nominations is Aug. 12. The previous deadline was Aug. 5.
That means there’s more time to weigh in on who should be honored this year with an iconic Golden Eagle, representing the U.S. gambling industry’s top companies, organizations and executives.
The Gambling.com Group launched the American Gambling Awards in 2019 to spotlight the U.S. market’s online gambling leaders and innovators.
Charles Gillespie, the Gambling.com Group’s co-founder and CEO, said the company is “proud to highlight” the exceptional successes in the nation’s online gambling industry.
The 20 judges for this year’s event represent a wide range of professional backgrounds and experiences. The judges include industry executives such as BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt, DraftKings CEO Jason Robins and FanDuel CEO Amy Howe.
Greenblatt said the awards set a high standard in the industry, “motivating us and our peers to continually strive for excellence.”
BetMGM is a two-time American Gambling Awards winner.
“This award is not just a testament to our success, but also a reflection of the vibrant and competitive spirit that drives the entire online gaming community,” Greenblatt said.
