Jake Redder went 4-for-5 as Burley extended its win streak to five in this shootout.
Burley established a 6-3 lead after four and it all started with two runs in the top of the first. Kyler Robinson scored Redder on a single then Jacoby Roe scored on a wild pitch.
Post 23 rallied in the seventh with three runs but Robinson closed the win. Robinson, Mack Haynes, Camden Cooper and Gaige Funk recorded two hits apiece.
Roe earned the start as he allowed two earned runs, three hits and three strikeouts in four innings. He struck out four.

Haynes, John Thornton and Redder allowed a combined one-hit in a game with just three hits.
Burley opened the scoring in the fourth when Haynes scored Ike Redder on a double then made it 2-0 in sixth when Robinson scored on an Ike Redder groundout.
Jake Redder and Haynes recorded Burley’s only hits.
Taiten Van Tassell logged Jerome’s only hit.
Burley (6-0) will see the Post 4 Razorbacks at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Minico Wood Bat Tournament.
Idaho Falls Bruins 11, Jerome 18U 1 (@ Minico Wood Bat Tournament, six innings)
Mason Garcia scored Jerome’s only run thanks to a passed ball in the fifth inning.
Trey Burk led Jerome with two hits while Sawyer Tilley and Brett Harrison added one each.
Jerome (0-2) battles 4B Post 23 18U out of Blackfoot at 11 a.m. Friday in the Minico Wood Bat Tournament.

Dom Garza led Minico with two hits while Spencer Pease, Jayden McKenzie and Will Cofer logged a hit each.
The end of high school baseball quickly leads to the start of American Legion baseball.
Minico’s Jase Murphy struck out seven in his four inning start. He allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks.
Minico (0-1) continues the Minico Wood Bat Tournament at 9 p.m. Friday against the Idaho Falls Bruins.
