Reality television star Mike Wolfe has landed his first movie role.

The American Pickers star has a part in the film The Day of Reckoning, slated to hit theaters on March 28. Wolfe shared the exciting news with his followers on Instagram on Wednesday, February 26.

“So excited that I got to have a part in The Day of Reckoning movie,” he captioned a post. The film stars Billy Zane, Zach Roerig, Cara Jade Myers, Trace Adkins, his brother Scott Adkins, Yelawolf and Bones Owens, whom Wolfe tagged in his post.

“The trailer just hit today at noon so click the link to check it out,” his caption read. “A reckoning built on bullets. A story too intense for your living room. Witness it in theaters only.”

Directed by Shaun Silva, The Day of Reckoning tells the story of Sheriff John Dorsey, played by Roerig, and U.S. Marshall Butch Hayden, played by Zane, as they team up to take an outlaw hostage. In the film, Wolfe’s character’s name is Mark.

Fans reacted to his big career news in the comments section of his Instagram post.

“So cool! I can’t wait to see it,” one person wrote. “Can’t wait to see what bike you’ll be riding! Who would’ve thought that a little show would lead to such big things!! Congrats! I’m sure Frank is looking down and getting a kick out of it,” another comment read. “Can’t wait to see your part, awesome,” a third fan added.

Wolfe has done some other smaller projects over the course of his career, including a 2018 appearance in one episode of NCIS. He’s also served as a writer and a producer on a handful of smaller projects.

Wolfe joined forces with Frank Fritz on History Channel’s American Pickers which made its debut in 2010. Fritz died in September 2024 after suffering a stroke, according to TMZ.
