FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The American Red Cross is incentivizing football fans to donate during National Blood Donor Month for a chance to win a trip to Super Bowl LIX.
Leaders with the organization say for the sixth year in a row, it is partnering with the NFL to encourage fans to make a life-saving donation.
According to the American Red Cross, the start of the new year is one of the most challenging times to collect blood, noting that severe weather threats and flu season can prevent people from giving donations.
Those interested have until Jan. 6 to donate to be automatically entered for a chance to win a Super Bowl LIX trip including access to in-stadium pre-game activities, round-trip airfare, a three-night hotel stay, and a $1,000 gift card for expenses.
