BetMGM has been named the American Gambling Awards 2024 Online Casino of the Year. This is the third year in a row BetMGM has won AGA’s Golden Eagle trophy, reinforcing its position as an industry leader.
The Gambling.com Group, producer of the American Gambling Awards, will host the winners, judges and other invited guests at an exclusive VIP dinner at Torrisi, an acclaimed Michelin Star (2023) restaurant in New York City on Nov. 21.
BetMGM Chief Executive Officer Adam Greenblatt said the company’s third consecutive Online Casino of the Year award is a “testament to the hard work of many and our unrelenting drive to deliver the best player experience.”
“We thank Gambling.com Group for this prestigious recognition,” Greenblatt said. “It is another highlight in a year filled with innovative partnerships, more commitments to responsible gaming, and a BetMGM player winning the largest jackpot in U.S. iGaming history.”
BetMGM Casino continued its reign as the destination for exclusive titles and the place to play the best games first. BetMGM was the first online casino in the world to launch the land-based favorite Buffalo. In late August 2024, BetMGM set the record for largest progressive jackpot in the history of iGaming when a New Jersey player won $6.5 million.
BetMGM Casino is the exclusive home of the first NHL, MLB and NBA endorsed slot games and uses the games to leverage cross-sell with its enhanced sportsbook. The Godfather, Star Trek and Ace Ventura were headliners that joined BetMGM’s library of games through an exclusive partnership with Atlantic Digital.
BetMGM’s success is driven by innovative engagement strategies designed to enhance player retention.
Notably, its Super Bowl Spins Giveaway leveraged its exclusive NFL partnership to boost customer engagement. Additionally, the MGM Riches campaign rewarded players for online and on-property play, further integrating the brand’s offerings.
BetMGM’s partnership with Marriott Bonvoy also provided customers with expanded rewards options, redeemable at MGM Resorts and Marriott destinations worldwide.
Charles Gillespie, Gambling.com Group co-founder and chief executive officer, congratulated BetMGM on its third Online Casino of the Year award in a row.
“This category has always been fiercely contested and 2024 was no different,” he said. “BetMGM has consistently distinguished itself through its exclusive game offerings and first-to-market launches, including landmark titles like ‘Buffalo’ and the NBA-endorsed slot games. Their ability to consistently execute on both the big picture and fine details of delivering their online casino product has led them to this top honor yet again.”
