The Celtics’ parade will be on Friday, June 21, Boston mayor Michelle Wu announced Tuesday. The team will go to Miami “for a few days to party,” according to The Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. ET.

The event will begin at TD Garden.
The parade will roll through Causeway Street and head downtown, passing City Hall Plaza. Fans will line up on Tremont Street as the Duck Boats cruise past the Boston Common. From there, it will turn right onto Boylston Street and end at Copley Square.
By waiting until Friday, Celtics fans should avoid the heat wave that is rolling through Boston this week.
Friday’s forecast is a high of 83 degrees with a 35 percent chance of rain as of Monday, June 17.

There has not yet been any information released on the broadcast of the Celtics’ championship parade.
