Defending champion Coco Gauff comes to the US Open at the back of a torrid run of form.
The 20-year-old from the United States won her first women’s singles Grand Slam title in New York last year.
However, in the hard-court swing after the Olympics, Gauff lost in the second round of the Canadian Masters, followed by an opening round exit last week at the Cincinnati Masters.
Third seed Gauff opens her title defence against France’s Varvara Gracheva on Monday.
Here is everything you need to know about Coco Gauff’s appearance at the US Open, including the latest results from the tournament.
