Cowgirl Tennis Adds Former All-American – Oklahoma State University Athletics
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s women’s tennis team has added Kylie Collins to its roster for the 2025 season, head coach Chris Young announced on Tuesday.
A three-time All-American, Collins joins the Cowgirls after two years each at LSU and Texas. She is the third transfer addition to the OSU roster for the upcoming season, joining Gracie Epps (Georgia) and Marcela Lopez (Utah).
Along with her All-America status, Collins brings a resume to Stillwater that includes two national championships, an All-SEC selection and an NCAA doubles runner-up as a freshman. She has tallied 38 singles wins and 55 doubles wins in her career and has finished each of her three full seasons ranked in the final ITA singles and doubles polls.
Prior to missing last season due to injury, Collins had an impressive junior year at LSU that led to an ITA All-America selection in doubles. She went 8-11 in singles and 13-1 in doubles, including 10-0 when partnered with Anastasiya Komar as the pair finished at No. 8 in the ITA doubles rankings.
In 2022 while playing for Texas, Collins was an ITA All-American in singles for a Longhorn team that won its second-straight national championship. She went 13-7 in singles and 18-5 in doubles, playing primarily at the No. 2 spots in both, and reached the Round of 16 of the NCAA Singles Championship.
As a freshman in 2021, Collins earned her first ITA All-America nod in doubles, playing a major role on a national champion Texas team. She went 17-3 in singles and 24-4 in doubles, playing all but two doubles matches at the No. 1 position while collecting 13 wins over ranked opponents.
Collins is one of five new faces in Stillwater in 2025, joining freshmen Rose Marie Nijkamp and Alian Zack along with Epps and Lopez. She is also reunited with former teammate Komar and teams with a cast of returners that includes Lucia Peyre and Ange Oby Kajuru.
The Cowgirls are set to host Wyoming to open the season on Wednesday night before taking on Texas State and Southeast Missouri State in a doubleheader at the Greenwood Tennis Center on Saturday.
