Dreamz Two Reality Basketball owner and founder, Roy Jackson says, “This All-American game is important to me because I want to see all high school kids in the state of Michigan prosper, and for them to look forward to this event to highlight their basketball talents as they play against some of the top athletes in the state.”
Game admission is $15 and tickets can be purchased here or at the door. Attendees can look forward to an afternoon of competitive basketball, music, and several raffle giveaways, prizes, and contests. A slam dunk contest will be judged by some of Michigan’s most notable athletes and influencers. There will also be a high school 3-point shootout contest followed by an equally competitive celebrity 3-point shootout contest.
“The inspiration came from watching my son play basketball while watching the McDonald’s All-American Game & Jordan Brand Classic last year. Seeing all the great athletes play in each of the games, I just wanted to bring that same feel to the state of Michigan,” said Jackson.
At the game, some of Michigan’s most talented high school basketball players who have all committed to attending notable D1 and D2 colleges/universities in the fall will be present. The following high school standouts are expected to be in attendance:

“The presence of all 20 athletes going on to play in college this year is important because the youth that’s coming up behind them can see them all in one gym. It will give the younger generation hope that if they can do it one day, I will be in the position to be picked to play in the game as well. I believe this game will be big for years to come because it can highlight D1 and D2 athletes in Michigan. It gives fans the opportunity to catch all these athletes who they will see play on ESPN next year,” said Jackson.
Founded in 2019, Dreamz Two Reality Basketball began as a recruiting service to help kids get accepted to college with a full athletic scholarship. Since its founding, Jackson has helped 75 kids get scholarships to play basketball at several colleges and universities across the country.
Dreamz Two Reality Basketball has also been able to expand its services, now offering athletic training opportunities, coaching, and player mentorship to help steer young men in the right direction. Similarly, Jackson says this event will be an opportunity to shine a light on the “top players within our state that need to be highlighted for their success on and off the court.”
“The goal is for this event to get bigger each year and to put a spotlight on our own athletes in the state of Michigan and for the Dreamz Two Reality All-American Game to be recognized as a top event years to come,” said Jackson.
For community members interested in volunteering or supporting the Dreamz Two Reality community outreach efforts, Jackson asks that all visit the Dreamz Two Reality website for more information.
“I strongly encourage everyone to come out and see us!” said Jackson. “You do not want to miss what’s going to happen May 4th at Detroit Catholic High School.”
