PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) – A former Oak Grove High School football standout got the phone call he’d been working toward for a long time.
Jaden Crumedy became the 200th player selected in the National Football League draft.
The Mississippi State University defensive tackle was taken in the sixth round Saturday by the Carolina Panthers.
Rounds four through seven were held Saturday.
Crumedy was one of six players from either MSU or the University of Mississippi selected on the draft’s final day.

Fourth round
Fifth round
Sixth Round
Seventh round
The University of Southern Mississippi went without a draftee this spring.
