GREENVILLE, N.C. – The kickoff time for East Carolina’s 2024 season opener against Norfolk State, scheduled for August 31 in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, has been set for 6 p.m. (ET) and will be televised on
ESPN+ according to an announcement by the American Athletic Conference Thursday afternoon.
The American and its primary television partners also assigned six other ECU games that were among its early broadcast selections: at Old Dominion (Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. ET on
ESPN+), Appalachian State (Sept. 14 at 4 p.m. ET on
ESPNU), at Liberty (Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. ET on
ESPN Network) and at Army (Oct. 19 at 12 noon on
ESPN Network).
ECU will play a pair of contests on Thursday night this year hosting Florida Atlantic on Nov. 7 (8 p.m. ET on
ESPN/ESPNU) and will travel to Tulsa on Nov. 14 (7:30 p.m. ET on
ESPN). The Pirates 11th campaign in the AAC will officially begin when they host UTSA (Sept. 28) before heading to Charlotte (Oct. 5). The American Football Conference Championship game will be played on Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. (ET) and televised on
ABC.
Season tickets are on sale with packages starting as low as $115 (depending on location) each and purchases may be made via
ECU’s Online Ticket Center or by calling the Athletics Ticket Office at (252) 737-4500.
The remainder of East Carolina’s kickoff times will be announced following the finalization of television broadcast schedules.
