CARY, N.C.—University of Hawai’i women’s tennis player, 65th ranked Nikola Homolkova dropped her frinal match in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) Qualifying Consolation Round at the Cary Tennis Park on Tuesday.
Homolkova fell to third-ranked Georgia’s No. 94 Aysegul Mert in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2.
Coming up next, the Rainbow Wahine will split their squad with players heading to the 2024 Beach Tennis Fall Tournament from Thursday, Oct. 3 – Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Rhodes Tennis Center in Long Beach, Calif.. The other half of the team will host the UH Ānuenue Invitational also beginning on Thursday, Oct. 3rd.
