RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A whole new generation of golfers participated in the 2024 African American Golfers Hall of Fame this past weekend.
The event was organized by the Inner-City Youth Golfers, Inc. out of Riviera Beach and introduced kids to the sport of golf.

“With golf, they learn honesty, perseverance, to be on time. Things that they’re going to stick with,” said Esmeralda Knowles, executive director of the Inner City Youth Golfers.
Many golfing legends were on hand to speak with kids and express to youth why the sport was important.
