Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was the victim of a shooting last week.
The 29-year-old was taken to hospital in the early hours of the morning on 18 October for minor injuries following the incident and then later released.
Reynolds was reportedly, external shot once in the left arm and once in the back of the head.
Denver Police confirmed two men were arrested shortly after the shooting and are being held under investigation for attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.
“Josh Reynolds was a victim of a shooting Friday in Denver and received treatment for minor injuries,” said a statement from the Broncos.
“Out of respect for the legal process we will defer further comment on this matter to the authorities.”
